A little about me -
I am a Civil Marriage Celebrant, living in Greystanes, in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, NSW. I have lived in Greystanes since my husband and I married 35 years ago. We have three children, although children is perhaps not the correct term now, as they are all married and settled into living their own lives. To date we have been blessed with seven adorable grandchildren, being a grandparent is one of the greatest joys in my life.
Whilst my children were young, I worked from home for nine years, taking care of the office and accounting work for my father-in-law's plumbing business. Eventually returning to outside work sixteen years ago, I have worked in the office of a Childcare Centre and then as a medical receptionist, where I still work part time today. The roles I have worked in have enabled me to develop good communication skills, and an ability to work closely with people, as all of my roles have involved a large amount of interaction, liaising with and caring for the needs of people in the community.
I have been a Justice of the Peace since 1986, and now most recently have been appointed as a Civil Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney Generals Department.
The main reason I made the decision to become a Civil Celebrant is because of my love of people, and the idea of working with couples and families, helping them to create a memorable and meaningful ceremony.
I look forward to having the opportunity to meet and work with you in the future.
